By sourcing select hardware at local feed stores, sponsoring local events, and supporting rope & mule tape halter makers, we ensure the income goes back into the community and supports other small businesses.

How long have you been crafting leather goods?
I crafted my first leather item in December 2019
Where do you source your leather from?
Local businesses as well as online. All tooling and backing leathers are purchased in Canada. Embossed leathers are purchased out of the USA as most are not offered locally.
Can I visit your workshop or studio?
Unfortunately no. My workshop is located at a private residence.
What inspired you to start Mountain Leather Co.?
I have a passion for bringing art into every day spaces and wanting people to feel heard and represented in full individual capacity. What better way than to incorporate art and self expression into every day items we use chasing our passions with horses?
Are all your products handmade?
Yes! Every order starts out as a hide of leather and a sketch pad.
Do you offer workshops or classes?
Not at this time, but I’m always willing to chat and answer any questions along your leather working journey. Share your projects and goals with me!
